Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
Trident Aqua Services is an exciting, newly established company formed through the merger of AquaShip, Intership, and FSV Group, bringing together leading capabilities to become the world’s most complete maritime aquaculture service partner. With a global fleet, integrated operations, and a clear mission to safeguard sustainable seafood production, we play a vital role in supporting one of the world’s most important food industries.
We are now strengthening our Finance team with an FP&A Analyst who will turn data into insight—and insight into impact. Working at the interface between the CFO, the business, and a US-based investment company, you will help shape performance management, deliver sharp analyses, and provide decision support that drives results.
For the right candidate, this is a role for growth: offering strong exposure, increasing responsibility, and a clear runway for professional development.
What you’ll do
Build, enhance, and maintain financial models that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights.
Lead and support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Prepare clear, data-driven presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
Contribute to strategic projects and scenario analyses across the business.
What we’re looking for
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling.
Proficiency in Excel and preferably BI tools such as Power BI or similar.
Ability to convey complex financial concepts in a simple, compelling way.
Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar.
Experience from FP&A, auditing, controlling, or financial analysis is a plus.
Curiosity, attention to detail, and motivation to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
Why you’ll love working here
Be part of a company with a clear purpose: safeguarding sustainable seafood production through mission-critical maritime services.
Your insights will directly influence strategy, growth and operational performance across a global fleet.
Work in a culture defined by integrity, commitment, collaboration, and high standards.
Competitive compensation, strong development opportunities, and a chance to grow with a fast-expanding international company.
